Santa's Sidekicks is a family owned and operated holiday lighting company based in Northern Virginia. We started it for a simple reason: putting up Christmas lights is genuinely dangerous, genuinely cold, and eats an entire weekend that most families would rather spend together.

So we do the part nobody enjoys. The two-story roofline. The steep gable. The tall maple out front that needs a real ladder and a spotter. You keep the part that's actually fun.

That's something we hear constantly at consultations: the kids do the bushes every year, or everyone does the porch railings together the first weekend of December. We're not interested in selling you a package that erases that. Tell us what you want to keep doing yourselves and we'll handle what you can't safely reach.

The other thing that makes us different is that we show you the design before you pay for it. We come to your home, measure everything in person, and build a mock-up of your actual house with the lights on it. You look at it, tell us what to change, and we change it until it's right. Only then do we talk about a number.

Everything we install is commercial-grade, professionally clipped so it doesn't damage your gutters, and set on an automatic timer. If something goes out mid-season, we come back and fix it at no charge. In January we take it all down and can store it until next year.
